This product is fantastic and far superior to the RPM product.. It's a shame that your description is so terrible that it resulted in a bad review for this product.
Yay Traxxas!! SO much better than the RPMs, (that just warp), lighter, and way less expensive. That was the only problems with the old front and rear Traxxas hubs, the bearings would blow out in 10mins. These are legit, just gotta grab the bearings. JZ
I have an xmaxx 8s and for some reason these so not work on my truck. Everything is the same except the back side where the bearing goes is alot large on the new one ? Im unable to upload pics but will contact support when they are open.
Reviewers mostly rate the Traxxas X-Maxx Steering Block Set (2) highly, with two 5/5 reviews praising it over RPM aftermarket blocks as lighter, less expensive and not prone to warping. One reviewer says the old Traxxas hubs suffered bearings blowing out quickly, and notes the new blocks need separately sourced bearings. A single verified owner, using an X-Maxx 8S, rated it 1/5, reporting the fit was wrong because the rear bearing seat is noticeably larger than on the original part, so the block did not work on their truck. That review was not supported by photos at the time. One 5/5 review criticises the product description as misleading, which may have affected ratings. Overall the sample is small, and the fitment complaint is the main unresolved concern.
