Essential upgrade to improve the life of your diffs. Also adds some much needed rigidity to our plastic tanks. Essentially, if Traxxas offers an aluminum upgrade, you know you will probably need it. This Treal one *should* be stronger than the Traxxas one as this is 7075 aluminum.
Great quality, sleek design, perfect fit, beautiful anodized finish, and matches the stock traxxas anodized orange well. Satisfied long time Treal customer! Been using these on my xmaxx for years and have decided to get new ones for my new xrt as well. Ever since I chucked these on, I have massively reduced the amount of broken STOCK monkey metal diff gears, only 1 broken set in 3 years since chucking these on, and that one time was due to me trying some proline trenchers(super heavy, super BAD for the drivetrain). I have the hobbywing max 5 with 1100kv motor running a 1.6 ratio using mod 1.5 gears(cush drive retained), so I'm definitely not babying this truck's drivetrain. F These are a 100% necessary upgrade for peace of mind, and drivetrain integrity.
