Just opened this up to install onto my Maxx V2. Nothing in the description of this indicates that it is for a stock Traxxas servo. Traxxas uses a 25t spline, but it's much larger in diameter than a 25t spline that literally every other OEM and aftermarket manufacturer uses. Usually, the point of a product like this is to adapt a standard sized servo into the truck. So it is a reasonable deduction to think the 25t spline is a standard 25t spline, used on virtually every aftermarket servo that almost everyone installs into these trucks. I cannot understand the purpose of this product, if it uses the factory servo. That being said, the quality is there, and it's very nicely made, it's just useless.

Does not fit the maxx. Doesn't clear the receiver box. It is for the servo that comes in the maxx. Not standard size. If you are going to buy it thinking it is an adapter for the standard size servo like I did, save your money. Read the description because I didn't..
Three reviews with mixed ratings. One reviewer rates it 1/5 and reports the part does not fit a Maxx, that it does not clear the receiver box, and that it is designed for the factory-sized servo rather than a standard 25T aftermarket servo. A second 2/5 reviewer, who installed it on a Maxx V2, agrees it targets the stock Traxxas servo spline, describes the build quality as good, and says the description does not make the intended servo clear. A third reviewer gave 5/5 but left no written content beyond a placeholder. Reviewers agree on the compatibility issue and that the listing is unclear; the reviews show no disagreement on fit, only on overall satisfaction.
