This is a great setup for the price, I installed in my SCX30 and compared to the stock brushed setup this is much nicer. The overall speed compared to the brushed system is about the same, perhaps a tad bit slower than the stock setup. However where this really shines is with the slow speed control. The stock setup is very punchy, this is much more controlled, and and slow speeds you can really use your throttle finger to be more precise with your slow speed crawling. This setup really makes the SCX30 much more capable. Here is why I give this a 3 star instead of 5 star review. - You need to use your own receiver, -I did not see where it said that in the description. This wasn't a huge deal for me personally as I have a few small receivers. My other gripe and this one is much bigger, there is no bluetooth or app' to set any parameters. The description says there is BT capability, so do the Chinese instructions ..however the link they provide in the instructions is a download to about 300 GitHub files ....I couldn't find an app to launch. I then went online and couldn't find anything, so asked AI to help. AI told me to download some software that looks like it was made for the Furitek system (which didn't work). I was able to get my setup dialed in, but only because I had a lot of controls on my Sanwa M17 controller ...I'd really like to be able to connect the ESC to my phone or something to set parameters ....the instructions are barely in English and not helpful and nothing I could find online. ------ UPDATE: I spoke to one of the helpful people at Amain and they provided the link to the ESC software that you can use with this ESC/Motor combo. The software is called "ESC Helper" you can find it in the app' store. My previous rating of a "3 star review" is being upgraded to a "5 star" review. The instructions weren't helpful, but Amain came through, the ESC/Motor combo works great!
