great quality however should be supplied with shorter front axle collar as stock collar does not fit the supplied bearings. Also note that you cannot use stock rear axle collar however it isn’t needed with supplied bearings. If Treal supplied this set with front axle collar it would be a 5 star rating from me.
Not impressed. The "upgraded" bearings in the rear hub are only 4x16x5mm but the Losi Promoto MX rear axle to insert is a 7mm OD diameter. You can just make it work if you just use the rear axle bolt but can't imagine the bolt without the axle shaft is going to be strong enough. The TREAL bearing of 16mm OD with a 7mm ID is not a standard bearing size so your SOOL. Gave it 1 star for looks. Even the stock Losi front axle shaft is a bit too long for the TREAL front hub but it works with the bearing not fully seated in the hub. TREAL needs to rethink this "upgrade" which is not usable.
This was very impressive. I was able to pick this up because they were on back order and I have to say I was not disappointed beautifully machined aluminum hubs for my new rims. Excellent addition.
Reviewers praise the machining and finish of these gold aluminum front and rear hubs, with one describing them as well made and a welcome addition. Fit is the main point of disagreement. One verified owner rated it 4/5 but reported that the stock front axle collar does not fit the supplied bearings, that the stock rear axle collar cannot be used, and that the supplied bearings do not need it. Another rated it 1/5, stating the rear hub bearings (4x16x5mm, 7mm bore) do not match the Losi Promoto MX rear axle, that the bearing size is non-standard, and that the front stock axle is slightly too long, working only with the bearing not fully seated. Recurring issues therefore relate to bearing and axle compatibility rather than machining quality.

- + Attractive appearance
- − Stock front axle collar does not fit supplied bearings
