About the Dirt Claw BELTED Tires
Tread Design
Elevated performance and aggressive looks are the name of the game for these Dirt Claw 2.8" tires. These tires are designed to rip up soft/hard dirt, light sand, light mud, gravel, and anywhere else your off-road adventure takes you. These tires use a deep, open lug design with a "V" pattern every other lug. This Open-Lug design helps keep dirt out of the tread to help ensure maximum traction in soft dirt. Compared to other off-road RC tires, these tires feature lugs molded to the sidewall, ensuring maximum grip when cornering. Large sipes in the tire help keep the tire cool while also allowing dirt and water to evacuate around the rubber quickly. While yes, this is an off-road tire, UpGrade RC has designed it in a way that maintains On-Road characteristics.
Compound & Construction
Made from a durable compound, these tires are extremely soft and allow for good traction through rough terrain. In combination with this soft compound these tires now feature a belted carcass for improved tire stability and consistency under high loads. With the addition of a belted design these tires balloon very little on 2S and 3S. This ensures the tires stay flatter to keep the traction high at speeds. Great performing tires, on and off road. Holds the line in dirt, tears it up in grass. Quieter and more cushion landing jumps on road and cement. Bigger than stock tires. Motor runs a little hotter, run times are a little shorter and it catches the body in bumpy turns. I cut the fenders and let it rip.

My new favorite tire for the Traxxas Mini XRT. Belted, solid feeling, slightly bigger and just rips it up everywhere. I have a 22T pinion and an extra motor fan and this is just fine on 3S. Just love em. Worth every penny.
