Extreme RC Belted Monster Truck Street Tires
UpGrade RC Tires are the perfect choice for your bashing needs. These Belted Street Radials 2.8" tires come pre-mounted to 5-Star wheels and feature a molded 17mm hex. Using the included hex adapters, this tire combination can also be mounted to RC vehicles with 12mm and 14mm hexes. Adding to these tires performance is a belted carcass giving them the ability to handle the rigors of todays high power and high speed vehicles. Made with UpGrade RC's soft compound, these tires are ready to grip into action and keep bashing.

Tread Design
These street radials are the best choice to elevate your on-road experience to the extreme. These tires are designed to shred streets, parking lots, skate parks, and much more. When driven on pavement or rough concrete or asphalt, these tires offer ample grip to pop wheelies and rip around. On smooth Blacktop, these tires allow for some serious sliding and sick burnouts. Large sipes on the tires help to cool the tire while ensuring water, dirt, and other debris leave the tire quickly.
Compound & Construction
Made from a durable compound, these tires are extremely soft and allow for good traction through rough terrain. In combination with this soft compound these tires now feature a belted carcass for improved tire stability and consistency under high loads. With the addition of a belted design these tires balloon very little on 2S and 3S. This ensures the tires stay flatter to keep the traction high at speeds. 5-Star Wheels
Upgrade RC designed a tire to elevate RC bashing, but they didn't stop there. The 5-Star Wheels are made from a firm composite that allows for just the right amount of wheel flex for stability and traction. The hex of these wheels is quite special. Out of the package, the wheel will have a 17mm hex and 3 different adapters. These adapters include a 14mm, 12mm wide, and 12mm narrow hex. This ensures that these wheels will fit a wide range of vehicles giving you a wheel and tire combination ready to get out and play!

I was really excited to get these for my Rustler Ultimate…sadly, none of the 4 were round or straight. I can’t even imagine what they would be like at 50 mph. They went straight from my balancing stand back into the bags, and will go right back to the LHS where I bought them.
Great tread, awful QC — three sets all wobble I really wanted to love these—tread and grip are exactly what I’m after—but the quality control isn’t there. Set 1: Noticeable wobble; I had to keep manually manipulating the tire to reduce runout. Set 2: Even worse wobble. At $45.99 per pair, these should be ready to run, not a project, so I contacted customer service. A-Main told me to keep the four tires and sent four replacements. Set 3 (replacements): Same issue—all four are wobbly. Between the first and second purchases, I’ve burned $180+ trying to get a true set. I like the design, but after three tries I wouldn’t buy again or recommend.
Yeah, so they definitely are NOT going to be your high speed tires on anything. They do wobble a bit and balancing these tires should be considered absolutely necessary. Absolutely. I balanced them and one was off by 40 grams! These are clearly bashing tires. Big. Cushy. Belted. Bashing tires. I am using them on a Traxxas Mini XRT. I have a 22T pinion and extra fan and these tires are just fine. I started with the longer hex hub and might be why I finally broke a steering knuckle with the extra leverage on impacts. Love these tires on the mini xrt. Really, love em. They raise the clearance and make grass super easy. They have pretty good traction in dirt and off road but shine in the skate parks and light loose dirt/gravel. Landings become cushy. Traction amazing. Air control fantastic. They certainly are not going to help you with stock gearing but just order up a 22T pinion or smaller and they will be amazing. (The 22T pinion on 2S means I can use the full 100% range of throttle. On 3S it's still a crazy fun power management bash session on 75%!
Tires grip really well. BUT.. 2 out 4 of them have a seriously bad wobble out of the package. Not cool. It throws off the TSM and makes my carry controllable
The tires are awesome on my vortek and gives it better look. They handle well on asphalt and concrete but I haven't tried them on grass just yet. They can handle speeds of atleast 50mph with not problem.
