About the Shield 1.9"

Balanced Tread For Precise Line Control

The Shield tread design focuses on controlled traction rather than aggressive bite, allowing precise line placement on rocks and uneven surfaces. This balanced layout helps maintain stability while navigating technical trails and competition obstacles. The result is confident performance without sudden breakaway.

Super Soft Compound With Tuned Flex

A super soft, high-grip compound allows the tires to conform to terrain for enhanced traction and smoother control. Paired with a tuned carcass, the tires deliver controlled flex that improves grip without feeling unstable. This combination ensures predictable handling on climbs and sidehills.

Stable Sidewall And Carcass Construction

The tuned carcass design provides reliable sidewall support under load, helping maintain control during steep climbs and off-camber sections. Sidewall behavior remains consistent, improving steering response and overall confidence. This stability makes the Shield tires well-suited for demanding Class 1 terrain.
