This screw kit has left me very unimpressed and disappointed. Missing hardware compared to the kit, incorrectly sized hardware and and overall lack of care and attention was put into this. I’ll get a set of JIS screw drivers to put in stock hardware next time I get a TT-02 before I buy this pack again.
This kit is perfect. Included all hardware plus some spares.
This screw kit is great, really intended for a virgin kit which is important to know going into it. I wouldn't build a TT-02 without this kit ever again.
The hardware does not match what is in the kit, which makes things confusing. The supplied screws in this kit are not plastic self-tapping threads and strip the kit plastics easily. I'm going to have to end up using a combination of these hex screws and the factory screws, which defeats the purpose of buying this kit. 2 stars because the hardware itself is good quality, but the kit is a miss.
Four reviews give a split verdict on this TT-02 hex head screw set. Two reviewers rate it 5/5, saying it includes all the hardware needed plus spares and suits a new, unbuilt kit. Two reviewers rate it 1/5 and 2/5, reporting that the hardware does not match the factory kit, that some screws are missing or incorrectly sized, and that the supplied screws are not plastic self-tapping and can strip kit plastics. One of the low-rated reviews praises the hardware quality itself, but criticises the kit's fit. All reviews relate to the same variant. The main disagreement is whether the set is complete and compatible with the factory hardware.
