One of the shafts came with no threads on it kind of depressing name brand part comes with flaws
they look very nice however the tang are machined small.
Installed the axles and noticed the wheels won’t turn freely. I found the longer axle was bent possibly during shipping. Now I have to waist time and money shipping these back and then wait to receive replacements
Does not fit an SMT10 without serious modification. As others said; tang is too long on the short shaft and the collars are about 2mm too large. I started to shave down the collars then thought better of my time. The long side fits perfectly fine though. The short side will work if you rotate the axle carrier 90 degrees and re drill the screws that go into the axle housing. - just bugs me this doesn’t fit like OEM.
Like an earlier review said, the tangs are over 1mm longer than stock. For an SMT10 with the open diff, the longer tang interferes with the cross pin for the planetary gears. I had to grind the tang down to the standard length before i could properly put the axle together. So this issue still has not been addressed by Vanquish in 2019. If your using a rear locker, this is not an issue.
Reviewers agree the shafts look well made, but most report fit problems with the SMT10 rather than the product's stated compatibility. Recurring complaints include tangs machined longer than stock, which interferes with the open differential's spider gears and cross pin, and collars about 1-2mm too large, making the short-side lockout hard to install. Reviewers who filed fit complaints ground or shaved parts to make them work. One reviewer reported a bent longer axle that prevented the wheels from turning freely, and another received a shaft with no threads. Reviewers say the tang problem was still unresolved in 2019, and one suggests the shafts were designed for the Yeti and Wraith, which use locked rear ends. A reviewer using a rear locker reported no issue.
