About the RTR VRD Stance

Chassis

At the core of the VRD Stance RTR is a performance-driven chassis featuring stamped aluminum frame rails, a 6-degree angled skid plate, and low-mounted electronics for an ultra-low center of gravity. The flat rock sliders provide protected mounting points, while the molded chassis components offer multiple tuning options for shocks, body mounts, and bumpers, giving drivers the versatility needed for tough terrain.

Drivetrain

The updated VRD Stance RTR boasts a robust full-metal drivetrain centered around the VFD transmission with 6.5% overdrive and a low forward motor position. Machined 30/8T ring and pinion gears, machined spools, and portal axles with brass weight tubes and alloy knuckle weights ensure unbeatable strength, precision, and forward weight bias. Combined, the system delivers a total 24% overdrive, optimizing both crawl and turn performance.

Suspension

Equipped with high-performance Incision 90mm S8E shocks, the VRD Stance RTR offers plush and responsive damping through aluminum threaded bodies, dual X-ring seals, and locking preload collars. Stainless steel suspension links with Incision M4 rod ends ensure strength and flex, while bent rear links increase clearance for breakover. With a 4-link front setup and servo-on-axle, steering and articulation are dialed in for maximum control.

Electronics

The VRD Stance RTR is powered by a reliable VE-1 ESC (based on the Hobbywing 1060), capable of 3S LiPo and featuring adjustable drag brake and cutoff. The VM-1 35T brushed motor delivers smooth torque and trail-speed balance, while the VS-1 metal gear servo puts out 200oz-in of water-resistant power. The VT-1 4-channel radio system rounds it out with advanced tuning, a digital screen, and 15-model memory.

Awsome truck and excellent customer service. I had a small issue with the transmission in the truck out of the box. The customer service team jumped on it right away and had parts sent to me in the same week. Would 100% buy again!

Ed RautenkranzVerified owneron Vanquish Products VRD Stance Portal Axle 1/10 4x4 RTR Comp Rock Crawler

I've been in this hobby only a year now, and have learned a little bit along the line. I started out with used trucks, and lower end at that, until I learned the difference betweek a $100 crawler and a $500 dollar one. Yet to see ones twice this price, but I imagine I'll get there too. Anyway, having recently made friends with someone who introduced me to competition crawling, I shifted focus towwards more of a utility use rather than scale style looks. I chose this one for it's near out of box ready to go to competition. Maybe not a podium placeable truck but I need to learn to drive the right lines first too, so we'll learn together. Top this off with the brand being at the top so parts and accessories are plentiful. I hope to graduate up a level or two in the next year and this purchase was a great place to start. Thank you Vanquish and amain!

What reviewers say

Reviewers rate this 1/10 4x4 rock crawler highly, with most giving five stars and praising its out-of-box performance, build quality, portal axles, tires and climbing ability. Several describe it as one of the best ready-to-run crawlers they have owned. Two reviewers report shock leakage, one right out of the box and one after a few sessions, though both say the shocks work well otherwise. Some reviewers expect to upgrade stock electronics and wheels. One reviewer found the transmitter difficult to learn. A few mention a transmission issue that was resolved quickly by customer service, and several comment favourably on the seller's delivery and service. One review is in Spanish and is brief. Many reviews are short, and some are generic praise.

  • + Quality stock tires
  • + Responsive customer service and fast delivery
