I love this kit. It is a great build but I am only giving it three stars for for 3 reasons. 1, the kit gives you everything you need but very little else. This generally isn't an issue, but a few extra e-clips would be appreciated as they like to shoot off to gods nowhere. They do give you 1 extra of each size but come on, the 3 extra cents it would likely cost to include 2-3 extra would be worth it. 2, the directions are great when trying to figure out where certain bearings are going. The manual should be a little clearer about metal vs rubber sealed bearings as well as sizes should be true to scale. And 3, the shocks suck out of the box. They pretty much barfed up all their oil on the first run. Reached out to Vanquish about this, I will update if I hear anything good back. Otherwise, stellar kit. Would be 5 stars with some very minor changes.
Excellent RC, very fast app delivery ? App Muy bien
The kit I ordered arrived and when I opened the factory seal and examined the contents I realized that it was a problem. It was not what was shown on the box and even had a loose LiPo battery with it. Plus there was no instructions to build with. I contacted AMain and they immediately handled the issue and sent me email return instructions. They air overnight shipped me the correct kit. They are awesome to work with and go out of their way to help you if you have questions or concerns about your purchase. I highly recommend using their company for hobby products.
Built a few kits over the years but this is the NICEST I have assembled to date. The build took me a little while but had to periodically purchase parts when I was able. The finished model exceeded my expectations. It is an extremely capable trail rig that looks good too. Purchased the Phoenix body and was able to set it up using a 7inch figure for a scale driver. Puts a smile on my face every time it’s trailing - whether over rocks, through mud, or just cruising on some hero dirt.
I have one word for this “Awesome”. The engineering Vanquish puts in there kits is second to none. There directions are very easy to follow & very well detailed. Amain hobbies always does a great job getting my kits & parts to me quickly & efficiently.
