Awesome builder's kit! Great platform for a custom build. This was my first vanquish and coupled with a hobbywing fusion pro it is an amazing trail truck. I've recently had some medical issues and sold my house; the temporary house does not have the 24x30 shop I am used to so going back to building these kits gives me something automotive to mess with and it was thoroughly enjoyed! I must admit though I was surprised that the shocks are 90% built, that has always been the hardest part to not lose a c clip!

Awesome kit, quality build, high quality parts and a great platform. Only reason for 4 stars is the direction are dated, I assume from older versions. The diagrams can be kind of hard to follow. My kit didn’t come with thread locker, and the kit indicated it did. The biggest frustration was the shocks included. The instructions are one page and show a diagram with several small pieces, i thought i was missing parts because the kit didn’t come with c clips or e clips and the internal shock rods weren’t machined to accept clips. I contacted Vanquish and they informed me the shocks had been updated and provided me with the correct installation instructions. I feel like the instruction manual could use a refresh. Otherwise a solid kit.
