About the GTX8’27 Combo

Updated Chassis Design

The GTX8’27 features a completely flat 3mm aluminum chassis with a rigid GT aluminum Backbone Framework, combining aluminum bulkheads and carbon top decks for exceptional rigidity, stability, and precise handling. The flat layout also integrates redesigned front suspension components for more direct steering response and consistent performance. This rigid foundation helps maintain predictable handling and confidence during high-speed GT racing.

Tuned & Refined Suspension

Redesigned carbon shock towers, aluminum shock extensions, reinforced suspension arms, and adjustable shock positions give the GTX8’27 extensive setup flexibility. The dual-row shock mounting and multiple shock extension positions allow drivers to fine-tune chassis roll, traction, stability, and corner speed for different track conditions. This wide range of adjustments makes it easier to optimize the car for changing grip levels and track layouts.

Precise Braking Performance

The updated single-disc brake system uses a piston design, ventilated hardened steel disc, factory-glued brake pads, and a lightweight titanium brake cam for powerful and consistent braking. Optimized throttle and brake linkages provide accurate response and smooth modulation, giving drivers greater control during hard braking and corner entry. The ventilated disc also helps maintain reliable braking performance during extended racing sessions.

Premium Race Hardware

Titanium turnbuckles, carbon arm stiffeners, a lowered radio box, lightweight driveshafts, and Hudy hardened components reduce weight while improving durability and handling consistency. Combined with 2.8mm front and rear anti-roll bars and upgraded drivetrain components, the GTX8’27 delivers a highly tunable platform built for demanding GT racing. GT Racing Power

The FX Engines G501 DLC .21 5-Port On-Road GT Engine delivers a powerful, balanced performance package engineered specifically for 1/8 GT racing. Its tuned crankcase, crankshaft, and sleeve provide strong bottom-end acceleration and top-end power, while balanced fuel consumption helps extend runtime between pit stops. With 5 ports, an exhaust booster, DLC-coated crankshaft, 2.7 hp at 34,000 RPM, and a practical 4,000–42,000 RPM range, this engine is built for competitive performance across the entire track.
