Advanced Carbon Chassis

The XRAY X4F'27 features a 2.2mm carbon chassis with strategically positioned center and rear cutouts designed to optimize flex, increase traction and steering response, reduce weight, and expand weight distribution tuning. The integrated carbon rear flex brace provides multiple rear flex settings for different track conditions, while carbon fiber steering and ARS plates reduce suspension weight and improve mechanical traction and setup flexibility. Updated top decks and rear bulkhead flex adjustments further expand chassis tuning, while the compact carbon rear body post holder integrates directly with the upper clamp for increased durability.

Precision CFF2 Suspension

CFF2™ carbon fiber lower suspension arms feature a rigid, lightweight construction with integrated composite detailing to improve suspension response and consistency. Revised suspension geometry positions the shocks farther outboard to increase traction and steering response across varying track conditions, while the directional pivot ball retention design allows easy assembly and helps prevent separation during hard impacts. The high-grade carbon fiber construction provides increased rigidity with minimal weight for precise and responsive suspension performance.

XLP2 Shock System

XLP2 shocks use outboard mounting positions that improve cornering speed, mid-corner steering, and overall stability while keeping weight centralized near the driveshafts. Precision-machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, the compact shocks are paired with adjustable holders that use shims for precise angle changes and setup tuning. Captured mounting studs simplify installation and removal while maintaining secure shock positioning during maintenance and setup changes.

Optimized Weight Balance

Extensive weight reduction throughout the X4F'27 chassis lowers overall mass while maintaining durability and precise suspension performance. Lightweight CFF2™ suspension arms, reduced-mass shock holders, and optimized carbon components help keep the center of gravity low and weight centralized. The reduced component weight also provides greater freedom for ballast placement, allowing chassis balance and weight distribution to be tuned for varying asphalt and carpet conditions.
