The XRAY XB8E’26 Electric Buggy Kit features a fully updated chassis, side guards, and battery mounts that lower the center of gravity, centralize mass, and improve weight distribution, delivering sharper handling, enhanced stability, and superior traction on all track conditions.
Precision Drivetrain Design
Redesigned motor mounts, split mount access, and a smaller center differential reduce rotating mass, improve drivetrain alignment, and enhance efficiency. High-volume front and rear differentials, along with lightweight HUDY Spring Steel™ outdrives, provide smoother power delivery, quieter operation, and long-term durability.
Advanced Suspension Control
Updated "C" Block and upper-arm mounts, lowered shock towers, and multi-adjustable 3-in-1 shocks allow precise suspension tuning. Graphite rod ends and anti-roll bar rod ends reduce friction, ensuring smooth, responsive suspension movement for maximum cornering speed and stability in all conditions.
Steering And Handling
The dual-arm steering system with graphite servo saver, adjustable Ackermann plates, and reinforced servo top deck ensures precise, consistent steering. Harder rear uprights, conical servo saver springs, and updated carbon steering geometry increase control, drivability, and cornering performance, reducing lap times.
Durability And Maintenance

Very high quality build with no issues. I just built the AE rc8b4.2e, and the Kyosho mp11e. The Xray can be built with normal or reverse motor rotation. The AE is reverse rotation only, and the Kyosho is normal rotation only. That’s the major differences between the three cars. I prefer the reverse rotation cars because of the feel when driving them. It’s hard to explain in words. You just have to drive an 1/8 e-buggy with reverse motor rotation. Another thing is there are a lot more upgrades for the AE car versus the other two cars. I rate the xb8 2026 1st, AE b4.2e 2nd, and the Kyosho mp11e third. Note: the Kyosho mp11e has the worse rear wing mount in history with the screws staying put (if you assemble one you will know what I mean).
