Looks great and all mounted to the Chassis but will not work with the Proline Axis Body. It raises the battery to where the body will sit crooked. It will still work perfect with the Arrma Typhon body but I don't care for that body. Another note the hardware supplied did not work on my TLR tuned chassis I had to buy part number AR722305 which is the 3x5mm screws to screw into the bottom of my chassis to hold the tray down. Not sure if others have had this issue. But for now I've removed this tray and am utilizing the stock unit and just removed the non essential stuff to minimize straps and extra hardware.
A rather poor product. First of all, it was supposed to come with 4 posts, I only got two in mine, second: no installation instructions (figured out how to install anyway only to realize they shorted me two posts). I'll also add, that despite it not being disclosed in the description here on amain, you will have to relocate the receiver to a completely new location. I do not1 recommend this product.
This is a quality option part that is a game changer for the buggys handling and looks. It does work with my axis body and roar approved 4s battery too. I'm giving 4 stars because there isn't any instructions and you only get 4 mounting post. So when installing its however you get it to work. It does make the buggy look like it's more a race rig verse basher.
Three verified owners rate the carbon fiber battery forward tray 4, 1 and 4 out of 5. Reviewers agree the tray looks good and is well built, and one describes it as improving handling. Recurring issues include missing or incomplete hardware, with two reviewers reporting only two or four posts, and no installation instructions. One owner needed separate 3x5mm screws to fit a TLR tuned chassis. Fit varies: one reports the tray raises the battery so a Proline Axis body sits crooked, while another says it works with an Axis body. One owner reports having to relocate the receiver, which they say was not disclosed in the listing. Reviews are few and mixed.
