Just picked these up for my 8s X-Maxx and the overall product is great but the straps they include are very short and limit the types of batteries you can install. I wasn’t even able to fit my traxxas 6700 4s batteries in the trays with those straps. If you do pick these up make sure to buy some longer straps

Installed this battery conversion kit in my extremely modified xmaxx ultimate. I love this kit and the straps are long enough for any battery I choose, currently using smc 9000 mah 4s packs at 150c with qs8 connectors. These straps hug the batteries very well due to the wider width of the straps I believe they are 22mm or 24mm wide which all others are max 20mm so it helps alot. I hit massive death ramp style ramps at 50 mph in my xmaxx doing double backflips and they never pop out. Just tighten them tight! Also since all my other upgrades added weight to truck it was nice seeing that the plates are carbon fiber to reduce weight, most others like m2c are very heavy kits unlike this one. Just buy it !!!!!
