These angled connectors are easy to install and can be used on your charge leads, or ESC, to maintain low profile wiring over your batteries.

The connectors also feature a plastic shielding to help prevent any accidental short circuits. Colored o-rings are also included; simply slide them over your wire to easily identify polarity.

Includes:

  • (2) Plastic Housing
  • (2) Wire Attaching
  • (2) 4mm Plugs

Pete DeVrieson Yeah Racing 4mm & 5mm Bullet Angled Connector Set

I picked up a couple sets of these to try when I saw them a few months ago as Im over a dozen Vehicles now that are all wired for and use Protek and Maclan batteries that have the 5mm bullet plugs. I liked the idea of being able to pull the plugs out without having the pull on the wire, and these connectors pretty much accomplish that in several of my vehicles. There are still a couple where there isnt enough room to grab both plugs (Tekno EB410.2, ET410.2) and on a couple of my 1/10 buggies (TLR22x4) one or both the clips are tall enough that they hit the body when using standard size 6000mah shorties, so they arent a perfect solution, but I have them installed on 5 or 6 of my vehicles so far with good results. I would be nice if they made one of the plastic housings red, but I typically wire my vehicles so its not possible to plug the batteries in backwards anyway. Overall Im happy with the parts and will buy more as needed unless something better becomes available.

Fit perfect, soldered easily. Caps are polarity is clearly marked , included orings seal the deal. Put the orings on the posts last!

Pros: Works as advertised. Cons: None at the moment Recommendation: I figured this out later but the red and black o-rings should be placed on your wire leads prior to soldering them in place. I also highly recommend not soldering your leads at and angle on the tabs because you won't be able to seat the o-rings correctly. You will thank me later.

Not cheap for just some cable ends but they work well, They solder on very solidly and the build quality is excellent. Super easy to grip. Note: I did not use these on a car I used them on custom made charging cables, I think they are just to heavy for a car.

Honestly a great idea, very elegant, and easy to pull. My downfall with them, was cutting out in two vehicles during mains. Changed back to normal bullets, no connection issues. I would not recommend for racing. Yeah Racing everything else, just skip these.

What reviewers say

Reviewers generally praise the angled connector design for making plugs easier to pull without tugging the wire, and describe good build quality and solid soldering. Several note that fit and clearance vary: one reviewer found the clips too tall to clear the body on certain 1/10 buggies with standard shorty packs, and another found they could not grip both plugs in some compact vehicles. Multiple reviewers advise placing the o-rings on the leads before soldering and avoiding angled soldering so the o-rings seat correctly. One reviewer reported intermittent power cut-outs during mains use and returned to standard bullets, while others report no issues. Price is described as high for the function. Overall ratings are mostly positive, with one low rating.

  • + Easy to pull plugs without tugging wire
  • + Solid soldering and good build quality
  • + Easy to grip
  • + Fits well on many vehicles
  • − Clips can hit body on some buggies
  • − Hard to grip both plugs in tight spaces
  • − Price high for cable ends
  • − Reported power cut-outs on one setup
