These shocks are falling apart on me. I lost a piece and one of them broke. I should have just spent a little more money and gone with the GTR.

This is the best Yeah Racing product I’ve tried, but these shocks aren’t great. The machining is poor leaving sharp edges, and the material is pretty thin. Performance-wise, they’re OK…a bit softer than expected with 300 cSt silicone oil. I’d consider these bare minimum shock.

They have a bladder on the top so they don't pressurize and leak. Have these on two trucks and they're doing flawless. My only gripe would be the caps are pretty big where the flats are and I had to run 6 or 8 mm spacers up top to keep them from hitting the frame rails on one of my trucks.

What reviewers say

Reviewers give these red 90mm aluminum big bore shocks mixed ratings, averaging around 3 out of 5. One owner reports a broken shock and a lost piece, and another describes poor machining with sharp edges, thin material, and somewhat soft performance on 300 cSt oil. A third owner, running them on two trucks, reports flawless operation, citing a top bladder that prevents pressurization and leaks, but notes the caps are large enough to require spacers to clear frame rails on one truck. Reviews are few, so the overall picture is limited.

  • + Top bladder prevents pressurization and leaks
  • + Performs flawlessly for one owner on two trucks
  • − Shock breakage and lost parts reported
