Beautiful looking piece. Perfect for the scale shelf queen. Problem is that it is made from a very poor and brittle aluminum. As long as you don't ever bump anything then this a great bumper. Mine broke while in low gear running into a rock. I guess having this bumper survive a bump is too much to ask. If you drive your TRX-4, I would avoid this thing like the clap.
Doesn't fit on Trx-4 Bronco or Blazer - it might required an optional mount.
This thing looks incredible on the TRX4 defender. Matches the lines perfect and adds the intensity factor to the equation.
Looks very nice and the finish is pretty, but the unit isn’t that durable. I wasn’t bashing my SCX10, but I wasn’t being gentle with this mounted and it broke at the mounting screws and air vents. The bars are mounted via screws and they tend to walk loose so throw some blue loctite on all screws for peace of mind. I’d give it 3.5 ?? but four is closer to how I feel about it. I’m going to buy another one, but purchasers be aware, it’s more about looks(it does look really good) than durability with this bumper. I wish it were tougher, but at $35 you get what you pay for.
