Pinion is to loose and spur is to tight. Over all a waste of money and time.
The hole that fits on the trans is to small and I tried it on a few different transmissions ordered another one and same problem but this time I tried a buddy’s and same problem so parts are faulty
Doesn’t even fit over the shaft. Super disappointed in this as every other yeah racing part I’ve ordered has been great. This part definitely needs to be re worked or removed completely.
I was really hoping this would work. The other yeah racing transmission stuff works like a charm, but this was a waste of money. It wouldn't fit onto the Yeah Racing equipment so I ended up adding the stock plastic gear, which fit just fine. I hope mine is a dud and everyone else's works out as intended.
immediately chewed through the pinion gear. No mention of what mod the gear is so now I have to buy an entire new pinion and spur. Do not buy this
Reviewers largely report a poor fit: several say the spur gear will not seat on the transmission shaft, citing a too-small bore, an incorrectly cut keyway, or a gear that does not fit despite a replacement. One reviewer says the pinion is loose while the spur is tight. One verified owner reports the pinion gear chewed through quickly and no mod or material details were given. A single later 5-star review says a slot helps the spur gear fit, that it runs quietly under load, and that the logo side should face inward to avoid rubbing the motor mount screws; that reviewer did not use the pinion because their brushless motor has a larger shaft. Several reviewers say they switched back to the stock plastic gear, and one reports no response from customer support about a refund.
