Love these tires for asphalt drifting. These are still plastic so the drifting overall will be slower but you'll have amazing control with these on your wheels. Keep in mind there is an outside designation on these tires, they are tapered to make it easier to install.
Seriously excellent tires for asphalt. If you don't have a perfectly polished concrete pad to work with and do a lot of your drift practice on the street... these are the tires for you. A slightly softer compound they add much needed control to road drifting. And, even though they are softer they last longer than typical compounds due to being built to resist the grating effect asphalt can have on other typical tires.
Thank you ........................................................
MST HP compound used to be my fav....fantastic tires, until I tried this ones. On new asphalt they both glide, but the Yokomo DRA has just a bit more grip, and you will feel it. Much more control....I'm not buying a different compound than this any more.
THE go to for Asphalt drifting. Ive tested other tires MST, DS, nothing compares for Asphalt.
Reviewers largely praise these asphalt drift tires for control and grip on road surfaces, with several saying they outperform other compounds such as MST and DS on new asphalt. One reviewer notes the softer compound lasts longer than typical compounds on asphalt, and another mentions the tires are tapered for easier installation. Drifting is described as somewhat slower because the tires remain plastic. One reviewer gave a 1/5 rating, calling the tires horrible and a waste of money, though the review gives no specific performance details. Five of six reviews are five-star. Overall, the reviews are positive but limited in number and detail.
