About the SD3.0 Super Drift Kit
Innovative Steering System
The SD3.0 features a forward-tilted steering base that minimizes toe-angle changes during suspension movement. This design ensures stable handling and precise control, even under demanding throttle conditions, allowing you to drift smoothly and confidently on any surface.
Enhanced Chassis Rigidity
A rear-mounted aluminum front bulkhead support increases rigidity in critical areas, ensuring consistent performance during cornering. With an upper deck post and rear-mounted servo options, you can customize rigidity balance for smoother handling and improved stability.
Optimized Weight Distribution
By positioning the battery at the rearmost point, the SD3.0 increases rear load for better drift control. This strategic weight distribution, paired with aluminum shock towers and big-bore shocks, ensures responsive suspension and improved performance through every drift.

Great chassis. Not really a fully upgraded chassis. They give you a rear aluminum bulkhead and a pastic front bulkhead which is silly since this is backwards. Basically forcing you to buy parts. The shock tower is the old style and not the new style. Its a good chassis they will nickle and dime you on.
My quick history: I started in 2021, 1st chassis yd2 kit, converted to MC1, I ran along with a Galm with a floating mm. I now primarily run the Overdose Galms high mount 80% full op. Plus I had a Shark that I traded for the SD3.0. The only things I changed are the diff to a CLSD and front knuckles. YOKRD-415SAB. After a quick binch tune to set up the front end. The car just ripped. I actually love this thing as much as my Galms. The rear motor and the highmount. Basically this is $550 plus clsd and the knuckles you could call it 6-700 buck minus electronics. Compared to a full option MC3 or a Galm don't forget the Sharks. This is a sub $1000 dollars in a chassis that I consider extremely Good with only 3 options, oh forgot about the rear ESC mount. Arms still plastic. Many of us start down the rabbit hole chasing the ghost. We drop thousands to get our car to work and looking great. This is not necessary with the Yokomo Sd3.0. Both the Comp and the Regular Sd3.0. Those who pill the trigger for the full option kit are probably getting the the best bag for their money. I've driven both versions, plus MC-3, all are great and fun. In closing you can only decide what you truly like and don't like. I have and will highly recommend this chassis kit to anyone.
