Yokomo SP-03 D V2 Programable Brushless Drift Servo (Black) (High Voltage)
About this part
Servo Overview:
This is the Yokomo SP-03 D V2 Programmable Brushless Drift Servo. The SP-03D V2 is equipped with an updated program that offers faster speed, higher torque, and incredible holding power. In order to maximize performance of the brushless motor, this servo is capable of supporting up to 7.4V DC. While greatly improving the basic performance, the steering holding power is increased to enhance stability during cornering, with an incredible linear feeling while driving.
As a drift-only servo, the hunting suppression function that prevents malfunction is just as important as the specifications. This suppression function is also equipped with the latest program, which makes it possible to run the steering gyro with a higher gain than normal. If you use a dedicated programmer, you can change the performance of the servo and the hunting suppression level, so you can fine-tune the steering characteristics to your liking.

Although it is expensive, you are paying for a quality servo. It has been one of the best servo models in my line up aside from a CT700/500 series servo. Fast, silent and has been put through some rigorous driving sessions. Been using the same one for about a year now. No chatter, still precise and smooth. If this is too expensive, you can try out the Yokomo SP-02D V2 or the Reve D RS-ST for almost half the price. They are similar in my opinion and still offer quality for a lower priced servo.
Great servo for drifting. Smooth response throughout steering. I’m using a stock yd2 servo saver on it right now, servo is fast and have good torque. Have not use the programmer yet on it. This is a good servo for drift, gonna get another one on my next future drift build.
For a drift car this is the best choice when paired with the v4 guro
Simple set up, easy to use. Can't recommend it more! I also got the tuner.
Until I purchased this servo I didn't realize how much a good drift servo makes a difference, I was running a Savox 1258 TG servo paired with the V4 yokomo gyro and anytime I got the gain on the gyro any higher than 45 I would get the worst tire shake from the servo it was undriveable basically unless I had the gain very low.... as soon as I got this servo paired with the yokomo V4 gyro I can run this servo on 100% gain with no tire shake if I wanted, the drifting is so much more controllable it holds drifts way better and not only that I can adjust the servo settings to dial it in exactly the way I want! I would suggest this servo if you have a yokomo V4 gyro they pair awesome together!
All five reviewers are verified owners of the black Yokomo SP-03 D V2 programmable brushless drift servo and rate it 5/5. Reviewers consistently describe it as fast, smooth, precise and quiet, with good torque, and several note it pairs well with the Yokomo V4 gyro. One reviewer reports no chatter after about a year of hard use, and another says it allowed higher gyro gain without tire shake compared with a previous servo. Price is noted as high by one reviewer, who suggests cheaper alternatives. Setup is described as simple, and one reviewer mentions the programmer, though another has not used it yet. No reviewer reports a problem with the product.
