I bought this because I actually needed a new sensor cable and being I currently run Hobbywing products in my cars, I went OEM this time. Now I’m no stranger to sensor cables and I’ve previously purchased different sensor cables from different manufacturers. To me, I’ve not ever found a significant difference in performance between them. Maybe there’s less resistance between them but in my opinion, it’s just a cable and does cable things. Now, the reason for my score is that the picture is a bit deceiving. In the picture, the cable is sheathed in silicone tubing. This is not the case in the cable I was sent. Is it enough to ruffle my feathers? No, because 1) I needed the cable and 2) it looks like the same cable I got originally with my ESC’s. So again, I’m not mad at all. Just disappointed that my cable didn’t look like the picture. All in all, it will do what I ask of it and that’s really all I can ask of it. It is just a strand of wires; it’ll do everything a strand of wires will do.
Should have read the reviews before buying. The pictures are a false representation of the actual product received. Pictures show sensor wire covered with silicone protection sheath around the wire. Dropping to one star since the main reason for picking this sensor wire was to have that silicone protective sheath which is not included. If you want or need the protective sheath, purchase the ProTek PTK-2110 which actually comes with a braided protective sheath around the wire, like in the pictures.
Stock XERUN sensor cable. Well made and does the job but reason I ordered this one was because the picture shows it sheathed in a silicone tube which it isn't. Comes as just a regular flat wire sensor cable.
Just what I needed. If I have any extra I keep them in my toolbox just in case.
Perfect fit to my Tekno 1/8 buggy EB48-2.1 (Hobbywing Xerun Motor and Esc combo XR8 Pro). Highly recommended all to have some spare for Hobbywing Xerun Motor and Esc.
