About this part

JConcepts Mini-T 2.0 Sprinter Pre-Mounted Rear Tires have square, angled pins that are stacked vertically to flex and fold evenly across the tire. Typically, a stacked tread will wear less and provide more forward bite while the aligned space helps rotation in the turns and gives a snappy release to square up quickly. Starting with the tread, the team focused on durability and performance to bring a rear tire option to market that competes on loose surfaces which are wet or dusty. The Sprinter tires are great for a variety of conditions and have provided grip and traction for stadium trucks for decades.

The outer sidewall of the tire has angled pins incorporated into the design to help release the turn and provide the rotation not only needed in dirt off-road but specifically in dirt-oval racing. The blended tread to tire body is supported with a generous radius which promotes “pin snap” and resists tearing or separation. Horizontal traction bars connect several pins near the center of the tire which bonds a critical area for increased push at high-speed. The sidewall area blends nicely into a step-spike feature which helps smooth the transition in bumpy sections and create side-bite.

Features:
  • JConcepts original tread, available in multiple compounds

  • Angled outer sidewall pins for turn release
  • Mini-T 2.0 bead mounting size

I got these for my Mini-B and I think they are great! Especially for the price! It's so much easier to get around off-road now!

Probably the worst tire you could get for your mini t or mini b vehicle. The tire looks amazing. Feels amazing and fits amazing however, when you go to run it, you quickly learn that your car has absolutely zero traction even on an abrasive concrete surface. You’ll be lucky to get the car to 15 or 20 mph without it completely spinning out, it’s literally like driving on ice! if you’re driving on any kind of dirt surface, you can kiss these goodbye! it will just be a long day of spinning around and struggling to even go forward. I don’t know who Jay is, but he clearly didn’t test this concept too much! I’ll continue to buy the proline whole shot tire as it performs much better.

These tires have great grip under hard turns but the glue job on these aren't so great. Also these tires sit flush with the rim compared to losi tires so rims will get damaged if you do cartwheels on the street.

What reviewers say

Four reviews give mixed results for these pre-mounted rear tires. Reviewers praise strong grip in hard turns and improved traction on loose dirt and track surfaces, and one owner values them for the price. Criticism centres on glue quality and tires sitting flush with the rim, which one reviewer says can damage rims during street stunts. One reviewer reported very poor traction, describing constant spinning even on concrete, and preferred another brand. Some reviews mention different colourways (pink and green), and the sample is small, so experiences vary and the overall picture is uncertain.

  • + Strong grip in turns
  • + Better traction on loose dirt and track
  • + Good value for the price
  • − Glue job criticised
  • − Sits flush with rim, risk of rim damage
  • − Reported poor traction and spinning for one owner
