About this part
Tire Overview:
The JConcepts Sprinter 2.2" 4WD 1/10 Front Buggy Dirt Oval Tires are designed to pair perfectly with JConcepts rear pin tires, giving 4WD buggy racers a front-end option that matches both traction and wear characteristics. Built around a square, angled pin layout, the tread stacks vertically to flex evenly, deliver consistent bite, and provide a quick, predictable release when rotating through corners.
About the Sprinter Tires
Performance-Focused Design
The Sprinter tread was engineered for durability and grip on loose, wet, or dusty tracks where traditional front tires can struggle. Angled outer sidewall pins help the tire "dig in" during turn-in, a key advantage for dirt-oval setups, while a generous radius between the tread and carcass promotes pin snap and resists tearing. Horizontal traction bars near the center stabilize the tread for improved forward drive at high speed. Built on the standard 2.2-inch bead, the tire maintains a smooth, comfortable feel and includes Dirt-Tech closed-cell inserts for consistent support.
