Mounted these on Pro-Line Rock Shooter 1.9" Aluminum Composite Internal Bead-Loc Wheels. Look great and easy to install. Quality is apparent.

The tires work well and look fine, but Pro-Line's quality control seems to have dropped since they moved production away from the US. The tires are were all covered in a weird brown release compound and I would recommend washing the tires before handling them. Some of the tires also had some spots that appeared to be poor molding. I am not too upset though, because they work just as well as before and the price was also lowered, so it's nice to see they are passing some of their savings from moving the production out of the US to the customer.

What reviewers say

Reviewers broadly rate the Pro-Line BFGoodrich Krawler T/A KM3 1.9" crawler tires highly for trail and rock crawling, with praise for traction, performance in sand and mud (including the Predator compound), and easy mounting on Rock Shooter wheels. One reviewer gave 4 stars, noting good performance but criticising quality control: a brown release compound coating the tires that is advised to be washed off, and some poor molding spots, though the price was lower. Another reviewer noted that foam sidehill support could be better, while the memory foam helps hook-up. Reviews are few (six) and all from verified owners.

  • + Strong traction and hook-up
  • + Good performance in sand and mud
  • + Easy to mount on Rock Shooter wheels
  • + Lower price noted by one reviewer
  • − Release compound coating needs washing off
