About this part
This is a set of two Pro-Line Blockade 1/8 Buggy Tires, with included closed cell inserts. Historic. Revolutionary. The Best. Just a few words that have been used to describe Pro-Line's Blockade tire. History was made the first time the Blockade touched the race track – Winning the 2011 ROAR Fuel Off-Road Nationals by 2 laps at the hands of Ryan Cavalieri! The Revolutionary tread design features large lugs for class leading tread life, perfectly balanced tread spacing for maximum forward bite and uniquely blended side tread that reduces the edginess found in other race tires. This tire will give your 1/8 buggy the speed of a qualifying tire, with tread life capable of handling hour long A-mains. Pro-Line's Blockade is the latest must-have 1/8 Buggy race tire and will dominate your local track.

The Proline blockade in m3 compound is the tire and rubber of choice around the world and works in nearly all conditions. Generally we use M3 rubber in most conditions, M4 (super soft)in either loose or cold conditions and M2 (medium) in hotter or high traction conditions. Can't go wrong with this tread pattern.
The prime outdoor tire. I would like to see a compound harder than M3 just for practice during the 90-101 degree summers. I live in the Texas Gulf Coast area and my track is hardpacked Texas clay with a loose, thin layer of fine to gritty sand/dust.
These Blockade tires are great in soft compound. I race in 105f wheather and they lasted 4 qualifiers and 2 amains 1st and 2nd place enjoy.
Big fan of Pro-Line tires here. For our local outdoor track, most people run either the Blockade or the Hole Shot. I like both, but the Blockade seems to make my buggy a little more predictable/planted. Usually have a set of wheels mounted with Hole Shot and a set of wheels mounted with Blockade, so I can pick whichever works best for the conditions of the day.
Great tires. Buggy doesnt feel right without them on the local track.
Reviewers consistently rate these Pro-Line Blockade 1/8 buggy tires highly, with all five giving five stars. Most reviews are of the M3 compound, which several describe as a versatile all-round choice for outdoor tracks. One reviewer suggests a few reviewers note M4 for loose or cold conditions and M2 for hot or high-traction conditions. One reviewer, racing in Texas heat around 90 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit, says a harder compound than M3 would be useful for hot-weather practice. Another reports the tires lasting four qualifiers and two A-mains in 105 degree conditions. One reviewer compares them favourably with the Hole Shot tread, finding the Blockade slightly more predictable. A single review references the X3 variant and gives no performance detail.
