About this part

This set of two Pro-Line Prism 2.0 Carpet 2.2" 1/10 4WD Buggy Front Tires features a redesigned carcass shape that provides more steering in low speed corners and more forgiveness and stability at high speeds. The second-generation Prism features the same hook shaped pins that drivers expect, combined with Prism shaped pins for incredible forward grip. Pro-Line engineers have perfected the carpet compound options of Z3 (Medium) and Z4 (Soft), which have been developed specifically for the needs of Indoor Carpet racing. For high-grip carpet tracks the  CR3 (Medium) and CR4 (Soft) have quickly become a popular choice. The Prism 2.0 4WD Front tire perfectly pairs with Pro-Line's Prism Rear tire for ideal carpet racing performance.

These tires are pretty much a direct copy of the Schumacher Cactus Fusion however... whatever magic Proline sprinkles into their rubber compound makes these last WAY longer than the Schumacher's with nearly the same grip. The Z4 (soft) compound is "closer enough" to the Schumacher yellow compound grip-wise. The quality of the foams you get with the Proline's is only so-so and the only reason I take off one star. These are certainly a great option for a grippy, long-lasting club racing tire for carpet and astro. Still consider the Schumacher for larger events where every advantage is needed.
