About the Checkmate LP 2.2" Carpet Tires
Control & Characteristics
These tires focus on delivering steady, predictable handling, which is especially important when the track surface offers a lot of grip and quick transitions. The larger directional pins help the buggy dig in when you apply throttle, whether you are launching from the start or powering out of a corner. This design also supports stability across the entire run, reducing the chance of sudden breakaway and helping the car respond consistently to steering input. A durable tread rounds out the package, offering long-lasting performance for racers who want reliable traction without frequent tire changes.
