About the Thunderbolt 1/8 Truggy Tires
Engineered Tread Performance
The Thunderbolt tread blends several purposeful design elements to create a fast, predictable, and versatile tire. Angled outer tapered pins with relief pockets improve grip and stability, while the slightly lower pin height enhances corner speed and reduces unwanted flex. The arched spacing pattern helps the tire slice through surface dust and scoop loose dirt when conditions get softer. Connecting ribs tie every third row of pins together and extend into the grooved cuts, channeling dust outward and adding structure to the tread. Combined with Pro-Motion's proven carcass design, the Thunderbolt delivers a balanced feel that thrives in mixed and evolving track conditions.
