The ProTek pinions are good quality and light. Very good value.
Nice pinions but the 20t def wasn't machined out to save weight, it had a solid face. Other than that works as it should
I have purchased many of these ProTek aluminum pinions. They are always machined well (true), they are lightweight and don't come loose. Price is great.

Reviewers widely praise these aluminum pinions for being lightweight, well machined, and good value, with many owners buying repeatedly and reporting no loosening. Several note the pinions are affordable and fit well in a range of vehicles, including buggies, drift and touring cars. Criticism centres on wear and stripping: a few owners report teeth deforming or stripping within weeks, particularly on high-grip surfaces with NiMH or brushless power, and one attributes damage to a burr on the spur. Reviewers who had problems generally attribute them to mesh alignment, high power, or sandy conditions. Several reviews mention a solid-faced 20T and clean engraved tooth markings. Reviews span many tooth counts and variants, and most are from verified owners.
