I run these on my 2wd and 4wd buggy(clay). These tires are amazing. I glued and did a short tire prep, layed it down on the track for the first time, the traction was excellent and only gets better. Highly recommended.
Used a set of these (SS) on an indoor, dry, hard packed track where clays might have been the preferred choice, and I didnt struggle one bit with keeping up with everyone else. These SS are now my choice for slick tracks regardless of temp or humidity, they really make the tire game so simple. I use to run m4 primes, these are better imo.
I’ll give them 3 stars because they feel super soft and I imagine they have good traction but the rubber is as thin as my printer paper. I imagine you only get a few days use out of them. I’m going to try and send them back because I can’t afford new tires that often
Three reviews, with two variants mentioned: Clay and Super Soft. Reviewers who ran the Clay compound report excellent traction after gluing and a short tire prep, and a Super Soft owner on a dry, hard-packed indoor track reports competitive grip and prefers them over M4 primes. One Super Soft reviewer gives 3 stars, describing a very soft feel and assumed good traction but thin rubber that they expect to wear out within days, and they plan to return the tires. Wear life is the only recurring concern, and it comes from a single review. Overall sentiment is positive.
- + Excellent traction on slick tracks
- + Competitive grip on dry, hard-packed indoor track
- + Works well on 2WD and 4WD buggies
- + Simple tire choice across conditions
- − Thin rubber, expected short wear life
- − Single reviewer reports tires may need frequent replacement
