I bought sets of these for my TLR 22T4.0 and Tekno ET410.2. I run on smooth clay/blue groove and have been getting good wear and traction. I found the Tekno to fade at about 4 minutes of hard running, but the TLR seems to get good consistent traction throughout the run. I have run the Stadium truck in 2 club races and two triple A-main days. These are about done now, but that seems like really good life.
I like the buggy tires but these wore out right away.
I beat the piss out of these tires on smooth asphalt. Buying more for my fronts. Excited to try traction compound on these bad boys. Ran on the rears of my nitro rustler work/lunchtime beater and no prep drag rig. Idk how the other dingleberry tore them up probably user error and bad glue job.
Worst tire I've run to date. Lasted a total of about 5 minutes before tearing the tire across the tread surface. Don't waste your money on these terrible tires!
Four reviews with ratings from 1 to 5 and mixed results. The 5-star review on the Clay variant reports good wear and consistent traction on smooth clay, across two club races and two triple-A main days, though the reviewer notes the tires were nearly worn out after that. The Super Soft variant reviews diverge: one 5-star reviewer reports strong performance on smooth asphalt and plans to buy more, while a 1-star reviewer reports the tread tore after about 5 minutes and a 2-star reviewer reports rapid wear. One reviewer attributes a tear to possible user error or glue. Reviews are few and the variants differ, so the picture is limited.
- + Good wear and traction on smooth clay (Clay variant)
- + Strong performance on smooth asphalt (Super Soft)
- − Rapid wear reported (Super Soft)
- − Tread tearing after short run (Super Soft)
