This is almost as good as Sorex 28 on our gray carpet track, but it is 1/10 slower than Sorex 28
These are good on carpet but not good and wrong rubber for asphalt, they need to specify this in the description but they didnt.
Got what I paid for, no complaints, tires look good.
Performed great, used the 32 shore, 80F outside 21.5 car on asphalt. Great grip, look like they will last a couple of weekends.
Reviews cover two hardness variants. The 28 Shore version was rated 4/5 by a verified owner, who found it close to a Sorex 28 on carpet but about a tenth of a second slower. The 36 Shore version received mixed feedback: one reviewer found it good on carpet but unsuitable for asphalt and criticised the listing for not stating this, another rated it 5/5 for value and appearance, and a third reported strong grip on asphalt and expected several weekends of life (that review refers to a 32 Shore setup). Reviewers agree the tires perform well on carpet and that the product is good value. The main recurring concern is unclear surface suitability in the product description.
- + Good grip on carpet
- + Good value for price
- + Good grip on asphalt (36 Shore)
- + Expected durability of several weekends
- − Unclear surface suitability in description
- − Less suitable for asphalt in one review
- − Slightly slower than Sorex 28 (28 Shore)
