Solder wicking up the wire is your soldering not the fault of the wire if you didnt know that then maybe buy some jacks or crayons
Great wire, I have been using this for years, best wire out there.
Sorry, but that all has to do with your solder job. Not the wires fault you are using to much solder. Great wire, all I use in my cars.
Won't buy again, solder wicks back into the wire and leaves the end of the wire very stiff. I expected alot better for the price. 25 years in the hobby....I know how to SOLDER!
Just installed this wire on an esc. I'm now beginning install on a buggy. This stuff is very flexible and thin stranded.easy to route in tight areas. If it performs well, this will be my go to wire.
Reviewers largely praise this silicone wire for flexibility, ease of routing in tight spaces, and solderability, with several describing long-term use in RC cars. One reviewer reported that solder wicked up the wire and left the end stiff, and disputed the price value; other reviewers attributed similar wicking to soldering technique rather than the wire. Most reviews refer to the 13AWG variant, while two praise the 16AWG variant for flexibility on a 1/12 scale car.
