About the Razor Wire 1.9" Tires
Razor-Inspired Tread Geometry
The razor-inspired tread pattern combines interlocking center lugs, aggressive shoulder blocks, and strategically placed siping to deliver predictable traction without sacrificing steering precision. Angular tread blocks create multiple biting edges for confident grip on technical terrain, while the connected center tread maintains a consistent contact patch for smooth, controlled handling. Large shoulder lugs wrap onto the sidewall to improve side bite during sidehills and off-camber climbs, helping maintain traction when the terrain gets challenging.
Compound Options
Available in soft and super-soft compounds, these tires let you choose the level of grip best suited for your terrain. White sidewall dots identify the soft compound, while red sidewall dots identify the super-soft compound for quick and easy identification. The soft compound is well suited for trail driving on mixed terrain, while the super-soft compound delivers maximum traction for technical crawling and steep climbs by allowing the tread blocks to flex and conform to rocks for enhanced grip.

Just installed these on my Axial CJ7 today . What a huge difference in appearance and traction. Ive run other brand tires on it . The Razor Wire out performs them all . So happy to have finally found a permanent tire for my CJ7 .
Badass tires definitely worth the money. Have good grip .
Worked great on a straight axle VRD build with generic dual stage foams. Would be 5 stars if if they were sub $30 a pair or came with a dual stage foam.
Absolutely trash tires, ripped multiple spots. Will not recommend or buy again
These have been tested on my Belgium pile of slick rocks. Their sidewall is rather high, being a 5" tire on a 1.9 wheel, so we decided to give them some support. They have the newest design of Team ReVolt sidewall stiffeners in them. They got 5 stars becauyse they almost out performed every (still available for puchase) tire tested here. Great effort from the Upgrade RC guys!
Five reviews, averaging about 4.4 out of 5. Reviewers generally praise the tires' appearance, grip and performance on rock crawlers, including a Axial CJ7 and a straight-axle VRD build. One reviewer tested them on rock terrain and noted the sidewall stiffeners, saying the tire performed close to the best tested. Reviews mention the Soft and Super Soft variants. Criticism centers on price, with one reviewer saying a lower price or included foam inserts would be preferred. One reviewer reported the tires ripped in multiple spots and said they would not buy again. Overall sentiment is positive, but the sample is small and includes one reported durability failure.
