This is a set of two Contact RC 30mm 1/10 Scale Nitro Sedan Foam Rear Tires mounted on mounted on Black Carbon Wheels. Made with an innovative foam compound, Contact RC tires are made with only the best materials, and rated using a fully automated durometer hardness system that provides consistent shore rating/density from tire to tire. The fully automated gluing, and truing processes mean that every single tire produced meets the high standards required by top level racers.

Available in shore ratings from #35 to #45. The Carbon Wheels are good for serious racers and suitable for high grip and fast tracks. The Carbon Wheel guarantees stiffness and the best car response even in high temperatures.

THIS TIRE DOES NOT FIT A 4 TEC 2.0 VXL. THE OFFSET IS TO MUCH & WILL RUB, TRIED A LARGER HEX HUB AND IT DID NOT RUB, BUT U COULD NOT PUT THE NUT ON TO HOLD TIRE ON.... WISH I COULD FIND FOAM TIRES THAT ARE DIRECT REPLACEMENT FOR OEM TIRES... THE TIRE LOOKS GREAT, BUT DID NOT WORK FOR MY APPLICATION....

Can't say I'd recommend them for dusty asphalt, but on a grippy surface, then not too bad. Running 35sh rears and 40sh fronts, and my 4tec 2.0 pushes through the turns. Need to lower the front shore a little bit or go 35sh all around. Speaking of using them on a 4tec, they will fit just fine. Use the regular rear hubs and add a 1mm or 2mm washer. Works like a charm and the rod ends don't get messed up; the previous owner of this 4tec didn't hear about washers, so his tires had a notch cut into the foams and rod ends. Ordered another set to try out some tuning options.

They are great tires. Awesome traction on my 2wd slash derby car. I buy a lot these tires and are a favorite in my derby series

Not bad Thay look good on the car and the price is fair if they can get more in stock I'd buy them once and awhile my RC car eats them up might try 35 shore or 40shore to 42shore on my RC car are fun though thay seem to have good grip though.
